Well the anniversary event is here. The annual company Christmas party has arrived and it is in Jasper, AB again. For those that don\'t know my whole back escapade started with the trip out to Jasper for this event last year when I went on a marathon x-country skiing outing. For the weeks afterwards I began to have pain in my leg and back until the shit hit the fan and I could hardly move and they were offering sugery as an option.

Well one eventful but uninteresting year later I am faced with the same event. I know it is going to get annoying as they are going to constantly be saying \'no skiing for you\' or some banal expression like that. They are truly not original people. Despite the inevitable onslaught on back/skiing comments I am hoping to have a large number of drinks and enjoy myself. We shall see if that is possible given the fact that the company is up for sale and will be the second most talked about subject second only to my back injury. Luckily there will be a puppy to take over some of the action or attention.

I am hoping to bring a camera and take some pictures to add to the blog here.
